Over The Shoulder

The way we planned our "over the shoulder" shots was we had to find a place to film but that was the easy part, Mostly we had to set the camera away from the sun because of lighting was better when the sun was behind us because it made the sun look perfect for the shot and so there would  not be a glare.
The introduction part was the most difficult because we couldnt get it right but finally did. The shots were  "over the shoulder" shots. As they filmed me talking they got a part of the left side of Zoie's head. We had to turn 180 degrees when filming Zoie. When Zoie was talking we could see the right side of my head. We should have taken into consideration capturing one of the actors speaking with their backs turned against the camera maybe in our next film we will do that.
We didnt really use the rule of thirds in this film but in certain spots it comes close to rule of thirds but we didnt put rule of thirds into concideration when filming.
Over the Shoulder is good for a 2 person conversation. It brings the audiences attention to see the 2 people interacting and talking because it feels real. To catch the reaction or emotion of the 2 people we focused one person and then the next.
I am very happy about our final project it came out great. When you watch it, it feels and sound like a real conversation even though it was not one person was filmed at a time me and then zoie but whemn put the clips together in order it sounded great. It did take awhile to start editing because we didnt download the files correctly.
The mood of the over the shoulder is joyful and happy of the 2 people conversation of the 2 friends.these 2 charecters already knew eachother so we began with a hug instead of a handshake. They already knew eachother especially if the charecter(me) had news for the other charecter(zoie) from her aunt.We always made sure to have one person talking and show the reaction of the other person from what was said.
