4.   From the beginning to the end of the year my blogs show i have learned and progressed alot. Such as, at the begiining of the year i wasnt very good at editing and i also learned to stand still and look at the camera i didnt do this in my cyberbullying video i would move around alot i also learned to raise my voice as in my cyberbullying video i wasnt the loudest i was in between but still a little bit quiet. i also learned to make clear and clean in and out points early in the year such as the baler interview was kind of messy but later in the year such as the cyberbullying video and my recycling video the cuts are clean and clear.

5.   I learned alot from making and watching films. Such as, the "rule of thirds" and "over the shoulder"
i didnt use the rule of thirds alot i would try so hard to but wouldnt get it right until we got the cameras with the graphs on it that made it alot easier as in the beginning of the year the person/subject is in the middle of the screen instead of being to the left which makes it better to get the setting idea and the point of video. over the shoulder is fun to use especially when you want to see the other persons reaction to what you said over the shoulder was tricking int he beginning but i got the hand of it.

6.   i had an amazing expirience in class. i had a great time filming it was the best part plus the people made it very enertaining and fun i met alot of great people and a great time filming i would like to keep filminfg and wediting videos because i came to love it.

Over The Shoulder

The way we planned our "over the shoulder" shots was we had to find a place to film but that was the easy part, Mostly we had to set the camera away from the sun because of lighting was better when the sun was behind us because it made the sun look perfect for the shot and so there would  not be a glare.
The introduction part was the most difficult because we couldnt get it right but finally did. The shots were  "over the shoulder" shots. As they filmed me talking they got a part of the left side of Zoie's head. We had to turn 180 degrees when filming Zoie. When Zoie was talking we could see the right side of my head. We should have taken into consideration capturing one of the actors speaking with their backs turned against the camera maybe in our next film we will do that.
We didnt really use the rule of thirds in this film but in certain spots it comes close to rule of thirds but we didnt put rule of thirds into concideration when filming.
Over the Shoulder is good for a 2 person conversation. It brings the audiences attention to see the 2 people interacting and talking because it feels real. To catch the reaction or emotion of the 2 people we focused one person and then the next.
I am very happy about our final project it came out great. When you watch it, it feels and sound like a real conversation even though it was not one person was filmed at a time me and then zoie but whemn put the clips together in order it sounded great. It did take awhile to start editing because we didnt download the files correctly.
The mood of the over the shoulder is joyful and happy of the 2 people conversation of the 2 friends.these 2 charecters already knew eachother so we began with a hug instead of a handshake. They already knew eachother especially if the charecter(me) had news for the other charecter(zoie) from her aunt.We always made sure to have one person talking and show the reaction of the other person from what was said.

Green Screen Workshop

A green screen video works by filming with a green screen in the background and use that as the setting at first. Then you edit it, apparently the color green is a easy color to get rid of out of the background. Then you take the green out and you can you can put a background taht you choose as the new background. An important consideration when filming with a green screen is to make sure there are no shadows at all because then the green is really difficult to rid of. A problem when tying to eliminate the green is that if there are shadows, the green is darker in the shadow and it is harder to get rid of. After affects was easier because you just click on the green and the green was gone.

5 Things About Other Video

The 5 things about other videos i learned is block 2 on ryan, taylor p. and sabrena video first, i think it is useful to have a cyberbullying definition right away from a student because it shows a view to a teenager, second, you can edit the clip in a way to speed it up to go faster which shows the number of students there were and how cyberbullying can happen, Third, To show the perspective from an adult to have a counselor  and a teacher to be interviewed to get a real specific meaning and the dangers. Fourth, Have the number of people being cyberbullied to show how many teens have been cyberbullied. Fifth, change of the setting to get the audience attention and to attract people into watching the video.

5 Things about this other video that i learned: This group did terrific at creating scenes that were dramatic to help show the main points of the video. It really gave a different aspect on the topic. I really want to do this in some way for my next video project. Another thing I realized that would be a great idea to include students warning the audience of the consequences of cyberbullying. And, it was great that the group only used seniors to speak about the Cyberbullying because they are the oldest students on campus here at sbhs and they make the Great influence on the other students and shows the mattureness of the video because they are older and know a lot more and helps get the point accross to the youngest student all the way up to the oldest students.

cyberbullying reflection

The thing i am most satisfied and proud of with my video is the order of my clips and the ending of my group and i talking at the same time. The commments that were most helpful to me for fixing my video was the volume level and spelling errors because it helped me see where i needed to fix my video to make it sound and look better. The changes that i actually made on my final video was the volume level on certain places in the video and the spelling errors such as spelling counsler we corrected it and made it "counselor" and i fixed the bubble and took it out because it didnt look good and just left the fact without the bubble. The changes i would make if i had another day or two is i wouldnt because our video is as good as it can get for my video. If i had a chance to do this project all over again, i would do differently is get more interviews and get more information/facts on cyberbullying. The realizations, discoveries and understandings i reached about creating my video is it is not easy and it takes alot of critical thing and there are many ways to edit the videos. The other thoughts i have on my own project is if there is anything i need to change that my group and i didnt see? and if we did a good job :)
